On Saturday 11 June, a military parade took place from Buckingham Palace to the center of London to celebrate 85th birthday of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II and attended by the newlyweds Prince William and his wife, Kate, the Duchess of Cambridge and all members of the Royals.
In fact, because of the nice weather in June, the celebrations of the queen's birthday, which is actually April 21, are traditionally delayed until 11 June. It was the first time Prince William had participated in the annual “Trooping the Colour” parade like that. In the uniform of the Irish Guards, he rode along with some 600 guardsmen and cavalry and was directly behind the carriage of the queen - his grandmother - and Prince Philip. While his wife Kate – Catherine sat in a carriage with Prince Harry, Prince Andrew and Prince Charles' wife, Camilla.

The members of the Royals including Prince William, Prince Charles, the Duke of Kent and Princess Anne made their way from Buckingham Palace on horseback to the center of London to attend the celebration of 85th birthday of the Queen on 11 June
It was the first time Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge, had participated in the annual Trooping the Colour parade.

It was the second time after the wedding, the Duke and the Duchess of Cambridge appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony.
